George Izay Park news and Master Plan In Person Community

Burbank, CA (April 27, 2022) – A community outreach opportunity will take place on Thursday, April 28th, 2022, at the Olive Recreation Center from 5:30pm-8:00pm. During the presentation, results of the community outreach processes will be shared as well as the design charrette workshop group plans, composite plan, consensus plan and Initial Conceptual Park Master Plan Illustrative Bubble Diagram. Based on the community feedback received during the Feedback Workshop a Refined Master Plan shall be prepared and posted on the project website. https://www.burbankca.gov/web/parks-recreation/george-izay-park-master-plan

The City of Burbank Parks and Recreation Department in collaboration with RJM Design Group is conducting this public engagement and outreach workshop to help identify and determine the needs of Burbank residents and stakeholders regarding future improvements to George Izay Park and its amenities, facilities and buildings. Information gathered during this process will guide the ultimate vision and development of a Park Master Plan.
