IMPORTANT CONSTRUCTION NOTICE – FRONT STREET Lane Closures Scheduled to Begin January 5, 2026

Burbank, CA (December 23, 2025) - An upcoming Burbank Water and Power (BWP) project is set to begin January 5, 2026. This work involves the installation of a tunnel bore under the railroad for the new electric lines associated with the Front Street development.

There will be intermittent southbound lane closures on Front Street starting Monday, January 5, 2026, and a continuous closure from Monday, January 12, 2026, through Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

Work will be continuous, 24 hours a day/seven days a week, from January 12, 2026, to January 21, 2026.

Front Street will be one-way traffic with flaggers during the day, and southbound will be fully closed at night and on weekends from January 12, 2026, to January 21, 2026.
