Notice of Write-In Candidate Period Burbank 2026 General Municipal Election

BURBANK, CA (September 4, 2026) – NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Write-In Period for Candidate Nominations will open September 7 through October 20, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Burbank Municipal Code Sections 2-3-123, 2-3-124 and 2-3-125: Persons wishing to qualify as a Write-In Candidate will need to contact the City Clerk’s Office to obtain nomination papers, pay a $25 filing fee, and obtain not less than fifty (50) nor more than one hundred (100) signatures from registered voters in Burbank. The requirements for candidates for elective offices of the City are as follows: a United States citizen, at least 18 years of age, a resident of the City of Burbank for at least 29 days prior to filing nomination papers, and a registered voter in the City of Burbank at the time of nomination.
