Join us for the Third Public Workshop for the City of Burbank Media District Specific Plan Update

Burbank, CA (November 3, 2022) – The City of Burbank continues to make progress toward updating the Media District Specific Plan.  Two community workshops have been held on September 28th and October 19th to capture input from residents, business owners, and property owners. A third public workshop will be held virtually and is scheduled for Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 6:00 PM.

Updates to the plan will focus on developing policies and programs that remove barriers to housing production, streamline the permitting process, and introduce practical design standards for new development. This means opportunities to strengthen the balance between jobs and housing within a safe, beautiful, and thriving community that embraces future mobility investments.    

We encourage the public to participate in this process. This virtual workshop will focus on potential multi-modal transportation options in the Media District. As part of this, we would like your input on transportation features priorities for the area.
