Upper Feeder Pipeline Shutdown Complete; Outdoor Watering Can Resume Two Times Per Week

Burbank, CA (September 19, 2022) - Metropolitan Water District of Southern California completed repairs to the upper feeder pipeline connecting the Colorado River to customers in Los Angeles County days ahead of schedule.

Burbank residents and businesses can now resume outdoor watering in alignment with State 3 of the City's Sustainable Water Use Ordinance. Irrigation is allowed two days a week, Tuesday and Saturday, before 9:00 AM and after 6:00 PM. Hand watering will be allowed on any day before 9:00 AM and after 6:00 PM.
