Warner Bros. Studios' The Ranch Lot in Burbank to House International Broadcast Center for LA28 Games
Burbank, CA (July 10, 2026) – Following final approval by the International Olympic Committee Executive Board in June, Warner Bros. Studios’ The Ranch Lot in Burbank has been selected to serve as the International Broadcast Center for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, giving Burbank an important role in helping bring the Games to audiences worldwide.
The International Broadcast Center will serve as the global operational headquarters for Media Rights Holders who have exclusive rights to distribute Games coverage. Supported by The Ranch’s production facilities and technical infrastructure, the broadcast operation will be one of the largest temporary operations of its kind in the world and will be fully operational for several months before, during and after the LA28 Games.
“The Olympic and Paralympic Games bring people together in a way few events can, and we are incredibly excited that Burbank will play an important role in helping bring the Games to audiences around the world,” said Burbank Mayor Tamala Takahashi. “For generations, Burbank has been home to the people, talent, and innovation behind some of the world’s most memorable productions, and it is a tremendous honor to see our community contribute to an event of such extraordinary global significance.”
LA28 is expected to begin preparations as early as January 2027 for the 30-acre campus to become the International Broadcast Center. The Ranch Lot includes 16 soundstages, along with production support facilities, workshop space, and creative offices designed to support large-scale production operations.
Shana Ferguson, LA28 Chief of Sport and Games Delivery Officer, said: “The Ranch will be an incredible home for the International Broadcast Center, offering a purpose-built production campus for Media Rights Holders and Olympic Broadcasting Services to capture and share the defining moments of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Together with Olympic Broadcasting Services and the Media Rights Holders, we’re creating an environment that will enable broadcasters to bring those moments to billions of people around the world. We look forward to welcoming the global broadcast community to Los Angeles in 2028.”
