Krystle Ang Palmer, City Treasurer

Krystle Ang Palmer was elected City Treasurer in November 2020, receiving a significant majority of votes cast in the largest turnout in Burbank’s history. Previously, Krystle was appointed City Treasurer by the City Council in August 2019.

Prior to joining the city, she worked in finance and strategy in the private sector. With 15 years of experience, she has previously worked as an investment analyst for a fund of hedge funds in New York City.

She has also worked as a consultant for a top management consulting firm. Additionally, she has served as a finance and corporate strategist for a technology startup. 

Krystle is an active member of the Government Investment Officers Association (GIOA), the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the California Municipal Treasurers Association (CMTA), and the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO). Krystle served the Burbank community as part of the Civic Pride Committee from 2014 to 2016. She is also a member of the Burbank Moms Club. 

Krystle holds an M.S. in Financial Engineering from Columbia University. She also received a B.S. in Management Engineering and a B.A. in Economics (Honors) from Ateneo de Manila University. She enjoys trying new restaurants and has completed a Certificate in Food and Beverage Operations from New York University. Krystle lives in Burbank with her husband, Sean, their twin boys, Elliot and Grant, and their newborn daughter, Madeline.
