Curbside Pick-up (January 8 – 26)
Residents may set out their holiday trees* for curbside pick-up on their regularly scheduled trash collection day at no additional cost beginning Monday, January 8th through Friday, January 26th. No curbside pick-up or drop-off stations will be available after Jan. 26th.

*All ornaments, decorations, and stands must be removed before setting it out for pick up. 6 FT+ trees need to be cut into segments. Flocked trees are prohibited.

Green Cart
Alternatively, residents may cut their trees into pieces and dispose of the cuttings in green carts.

Important disposal tips:

Real Trees and Wreaths (not flocked or plastic)
•    Remove all lights, ornaments, tinsel, garlands and stand.
•    Follow self-drop off or City collection details listed above.

Decorations:
•    String lights are e-waste and cannot go in your collection container. They can be dropped off at the Burbank Recycle Center's Drop Zone collection area (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm except for holidays).
•    Decorations can be donated or disposed into the trash.

Flocked (sprayed with fake snow) and Artificial Trees and Wreaths:
•    These are trash items that go in the black trash container. Flocked and artificial trees should be cut or modified to fit inside the cart with the lid closed.
•    Fake trees that come with string lights (e-waste) need to be removed or the entire tree can be dropped off for e-waste collection.
