The Burbank City Clerk’s Office is accepting applications for the Burbank Water and Power Board beginning August 13, 2025 through September 12, 2025.

Starting August 26, the City of Burbank will launch Peak Agenda Management, a new digital platform for creating and publishing meeting agendas and agenda packets.

The Burbank Police Department will hold a DUI Checkpoint on Friday, August 15, 2025, beginning at 7:00 P.M. at an undisclosed location within the city limits.

The Verdugo Aquatic Facility will be closed from August 18 through August 31 for annual maintenance.

[UPDATE 3:30PM 7/31/25] The Metrolink Elevator located at 201 N Front St. is now back in service.

The Metrolink Elevator located at 201 N Front St. is temporarily out of service due to maintenance repairs. 

Please be advised of a full road closure of Front Street from Burbank Blvd to approximately 500' south of the Magnolia Bridge Overpass from 9PM on Friday, August 1st through 5PM on Saturday, August 2nd for the removal of concrete K-Rails, relocating construction fencing, and modifying traffic striping.

On July 22, 2025, Burbank Police officers responded to a report of a  suspicious individual loitering in the women’s department of Nordstrom Rack, located at 1601  North Victory Place.

Please be advised the new projected completion date is August 13, 2025. Working hours have also been extended to 8AM-5PM daily with occasional exceptions for Saturdays.
