The project was approved by the Planning Board on August 24, 2020.

A four (4) story mixed - use State Density Bonus project with 42 residential rental units, ground floor retail and office space, and two levels of subterranean parking. Pursuant to State law, the project qualified for a 35% increase in the allowable residential density in exchange for providing a percentage of deed-restricted afforable housing units. Out of the 42 dwelling units, the project will include four (4) units reserved for households qualifying as Very Low - Income, and one (1) unit for households qualifying as Low-Income. 
  • January 9, 2020 - Community Meeting - A community meeting was held in the atrium of the Community Services Building at 150 N. Third Street in Burbank. The purpose of the meeting was to present the project and to receive comments and questions from the public. 
  • August 24,2020 - Planning Board Hearing - The Project received approval by the City Planning Board for the proposed Conditional Use Permit (CUP), Development Review (DR), and Lot Line Adjustment (LLA) applications applicable to the project.
  • January 2021 - Project submitted for Building Plan Check Review (ongoing).
The Project qualifies for a categorical exemption under the California Environmental Qualit Act (CEQA) in accordance with Section 15332 of the State CEQA Guildlines for infill development with urbanized areas.
