May 21, 2024 - Public Hearing - Introduction of an Ordinance Amending Title 10, Chapter 1, of the Burbank Municipal Code to Establish Regulations and Development Standards for Firearm and Ammunition Retail Uses

An investigation is underway after a traffic collision resulted in one fatality. 

Sections of the sidewalk in Downtown Burbank along San Fernando Boulevard and Magnolia Boulevard will undergo approximately three weeks of construction May 13 - 31 (excluding the Memorial Day holiday) for the installation of underground conduits and fiber optic cables.

A homicide investigation is underway after a woman was killed in her home Tuesday evening.

Burbank City Manager Justin Hess has selected Assistant General Manager of Power Supply, Mandip Samra, as the General Manager of Burbank Water and Power, replacing Joseph Lillio who will resume his role as the Chief Financial Officer of Burbank Water and Power. 

The naming is in recognition of Burbank’s commitment to effective urban forest management.
