VOTE CENTERS AND 24-HOUR VOTE BY MAIL DROPBOXES

24-HOUR VOTE BY MAIL (VBM) DROP BOX PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Over 400 24-Hour VBM Drop Boxes will be available throughout Los Angeles County that voters can use to safely cast their ballots during the 2025 Statewide Special Election.

STATEWIDE SPECIAL ELECTION TIMELINE
  • Mailing of Sample Ballots                   Starting on Thursday, September 25, 2025
  • Mailing of VBM Ballots                       Starting on Monday, October 6, 2025
  • Vote by Mail Period                             Monday, October 6, 2025 through Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025
  • Last Day to Register to Vote               Monday, October 20, 2025
  • 11-Day Vote Centers Open                 Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
  • All Vote Centers Open                         Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
  • Election Day                                          Tuesday, November 4, 2025, 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
VOTE CENTER AND VOTE BY MAIL DROP BOX LOCATIONS
  • Voters are provided the Drop Box locations near their residence on their VBM Packet that was sent via U.S. Mail
  • Find all Vote Center and Drop Box locations by using the VBM Drop Box Locator Tool
 BALLOT RETRIEVAL 
  • Ballots will be securely collected on a daily basis at each VBM Drop Box by County staff members throughout the voting period
