A request for approval of a Planned Development, Development Review and Development Agreement to construct a new 7-story dual brand hotel consisting of approximately 262,338 square feet and a separate, detached four-story parking garage on a portion of the 11.76-acre site generally bounded by Thornton Avenue, Hollywood Way, and Avon Street in the City of Burbank, California. 

This proposal would not replace the existing development on the property, the existing hotel and convention center would remain.
Informational Meeting and EIR Public Scoping Meeting - The City of Burbank Community Development Department will host a joint Informational Meeting and EIR Public Scoping Meeting that will be held Virtually on March 20, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The City of Burbank, as Lead Agency, is preparing an Enviromental Impact Report for the project in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act.
 
  • Notice of Preparation (NOP) - A NOP was released on March 6, 2024. The City of Burbank Community Development Department is taking comments on the NOP until 5:00 pm on April 4, 2024. In addition, the City of Burbank will host a joint Information Meeting and EIR Public Scoping Meeting that will be held Virtually on March 20, 2024 from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. It will be a virtual meeting. Those interested in attending can join the meeting by following the link below.
