  • On June 24, 2022, the City of Burbank received a Notice of Intent (NOI) to submit an application for a Streamlined Ministerial Approval Process pursuant to Government Code Section 65913.4 to construct a new mixed-use residential/commercial building that consist of 144 rental residential units, 1,058 square feet of commercial ground-floor area, 2-levels of subterranean parking areas, and a publicly accessible open space (Bob Hope Park).  
  • The SB NOI application is scheduled for the August 23, 2022 City Council meeting for City Council consideration of site eligibility requirements as noted in Government Code Section 65913.4, subsections (a)(2)(A-C) in accordance with Burbank Municipal Code Section 10-1-19302(A)(3)
  • As of June 24, 2022, the SB 35 NOI application has been routed to other City Departments for review. Staff is also currently undertaking the tribal consultation process as outlined in Government Code Section 65913.4(b).
