On May 23, 2023 Burbank Police Department Officers successfully rescued a loose horse named "Oreo" in the Rancho area.

Effective June 1, 2023, the City of Burbank (City) will begin expanded enforcement of its parking regulations, including the regulations for Downtown Burbank.

City of Burbank offices and facilities will be closed in remembrance of the Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 29, 2023. Refuse pick-up will be collected as usual.  

Beginning Monday, May 22, 2023 Stough Canyon Trails will be closed for repairs.

May 22, 2023 has been declared Harvey Milk Day in the City of Burbank.

The Burbank City Council has declared May as National Water Safety Month! 

On Monday, May, 22, 2023, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will start setting up the work area in preparation for a groundwater monitoring well to be constructed on the east side of W Lutge Ave between Victory Blvd and S Chavez St in the City of Burbank.

The Burbank Police Department (Department) manages parking enforcement within the City and is responsible for maintaining traffic safety by enforcing parking laws, removing vehicles that are obstructing the roadway, and impounding abandoned vehicles.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) advises motorists to expect overnight closures of some Interstate 5 on-ramps and off-ramps in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles and Burbank starting tonight (May 17) and continuing through mid-summer.
