Burbank Parks and Recreation operates and maintains a total of 41 parks and facilities. Included are 27 parks, 15 ball fields, 4 recreation/community centers, 2 older adult centers, 1 performing art theater, 2 swimming pools, a skate/BMX park, a roller hockey rink, a tennis center, an 18-hole golf course, an outdoor amphitheater, and a nature center.

Stough Canyon Nature Center

Nestled in the Verdugo Mountains, the Stough Canyon Nature Center provides opportunities to learn more about the Verdugo Mountains, wildlife, flora, fauna, and habitat through planned activities, exhibits, and nature hikes. The Stough Canyon Nature Center offers a variety of educational activities including astronomy, nature programs and activities, nature hikes, workshops, seasonal day camps, and volunteer docent programs. The Nature Center is also available for rent for meetings, field trips, and birthday parties.
