The City of Burbank’s Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) program is committed to protecting the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and the public through proactive hazard prevention, safety training, regulatory compliance, and emergency preparedness. We work closely with City departments to ensure safe operations across all worksites.
EHS also coordinates with contractors to ensure compliance with California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA) regulations, including those related to workplace violence prevention.
Contractors working on behalf of the City must review our Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) and share relevant workplace violence incident logs, as required by California Labor Code Section 6401.9 (established by Senate Bill 553).
Workplace violence incident log entries must be submitted to the City via email at [email protected]
