CDBG

The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is one of the largest federal programs that is structured to primarily benefit low-income households. In many communities, CDBG has been a critical resource in helping to improve public facilities, rehabilitate needed affordable housing, supporting small businesses in low-income neighborhoods, and providing important services.

The City of Burbank is requesting your input to identify the community's needs. By completing this survey, you will help the City prepare its 2024-2029 5-year Consolidated Plan to receive Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) money that can be used for housing, infrastructure, homeless services, supportive human service, and economic development. This will help the City set future goals and programs to better serve the community. Please take the Consolidated Plan Needs Assessment survey and Analysis of Impediments survey.

The surveys will be open from October 15, 2024, through November 15, 2024.

The City will also be hosting two virtual interactive workshops. Residents will also have the opportunity to give their feedback regarding uses for the CDBG grant funds, and fair housing opportunities and challenges in the City of Burbank.
