All applications must be filled out completely and submitted with applicable fees. If your project requires more than one application, you may fill out the General Application once, however all supplemental applications must be completed as required. For all applications requiring plans, the plans must follow the Standard Plan Formatting Guidelines. Please note that applications submitted without fees will not be processed untilt he required payment has been submitted.

Wireless Telecommunication Facility (WTF)

An appointment is required to file an application for a Wireless Telecommunications Facility. Call the Planning Division at (818) 238 - 5250 during regular business hours to make an appointment. A maximum of three (3) applications may be accepted at a single appointment. Please note: incomplete applications will not be accepted for filing. The submittal of the appropriate fee, as noted on the most current Citywide Fee Schedule, is required at the time of project submittal.

Wireless Telecommunication Facility (WTF)

The Supplemental Wireless Applications is required for ALL 6409(a) Eligible Facilities requests. All applicable attachments such as the Propagation Maps, LOA’s and Photo Simulations must be provided. Incomplete applications will not be accepted for plan check submittal.

The submittal of the appropriate fee, as noted on the most current Citywide Fee Schedule, is required at the time of project submittal.

Appeal Form (PDF)

An appeal may be filed the following business day from the decision date (noted on the decision letter or the date of the public hearing). Most appeals must be filed within 15 calendar days of the date the decision is made or public hearing date. To confirm the appeal period, please contact the Project Planner at (818) 238-5250. No appeal can be filed after the appeal deadline.   
 

If Multiple Appeals or Appellants

If more than one appeal is filed on a single project, all appeals will be heard together at a single public hearing. If a person decides to withdraw their appeal and only one appeal was filed, there will be no public hearing.

If multiple individuals wish to appeal a decision for the same reasons, the individuals may file a single appeal form with each individuals signature and share the cost of the appeal. For such an appeal to be withdrawn, all persons who signed the original appeal form must submit a written request to withdraw the appeal.

Planning application fees are approved by the City Council each year and become effective on July 1st in conjunction with adoption of the City budget. All Planning Application fees are due at the time of application submittal. Planning application fees include fees charged for application review by other City Departments, such as Public Works. 

Payment of fees may be provided by cash, check (made payable to the "City of Burbank"), or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). For credit card transactions, an administrative fee of 3% per transaction will be charged.
