BurbankBus offers two local fixed-routes with local multi-modal connections between regional transit facilities, offices, and commercial centers near the major employment areas of Burbank.

The purpose of the Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) is to evaluate the effectiveness of the City’s current transit services, seek input from existing and potential riders to identify unmet service needs, and identify service enhancements while ensuring these services meet the current and future needs of Burbank’s residents, visitors, and commuters. The key objectives are the following:
  • Fill public transportation gaps.
  • Prioritize those with the greatest transportation challenges, such as low-income communities with minimal transportation options and low car ownership, women and gender minorities, youth and neurodiverse communities, among others.
  • Serve areas expecting future growth, referencing City Specific Plans and other related documents.
  • Connect the community to key destinations.
  • Maximize reach and efficiency of other transportation services and avoid redundancy.
  • Ensure services are sustainable and able to function at high-level (i.e. frequent, safe, and reliable).
