JOin us for A new challenge each week!

Calling all Superheroes!  We are asking for your help. Each week, a fun adventure will be unleashed. Using your superhero powers, journey throughout Burbank and solve each week's challenge!

Be your own superhero - come out in costume or download the Superhero Starter Pack as part of the adventure. Share your adventures using the hashtag #BurbankSuperheroes on Burbank Parks and Recreation's Facebook and Instagram pages to be included in an opportunity drawing.  Winners will be randomly selected each week. Prizes include Parks and Recreation swag bags for one lucky participant each week.  One winner will receive a grand prize of a FREE Recreation Class!  

OFFICIAL RULES
ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY 7:00 PM on the Friday of each week.  A winner will be selected at random for each weekly challenge based on the eligible submissions.

Entries not complying with all contest rules will be disqualified.

ELIGIBILITY
The Grand Prize consists of a gift certificate valued at $100 to be utilized for Recreation Classes, eligible for (1) free Parks and Recreation class listed in the Recreation Guide for you or a member of your household. Redeemable for the Fall 2021, Winter 2022, or Spring 2022 sessions. (fee not to exceed $100). Excludes tennis classes, golf classes, camps and Afterschool Daze Program.  Prize does not include class material fees.  Prizes are non-transferrable, unavailable for substitution, and not redeemable for credit or cash. The class must be available at the time of redemption. Any class fees over $100 will be the responsibility of the registrant.

 1. Entrants must be at least 13 years old, younger superheroes will need to ask their parent/guardian to submit on their behalf.
2. Entries may be submitted by residents and non-residents.
3. Entrants may submit unlimited entries. 
4. Burbank Parks and Recreation Employees are not eligible to win.
5. Photos must be submitted through Facebook or Instagram (no hard copies will be accepted).  Entrants who do not have a public profile or would not like to release their images may email: [email protected] with their photos. (Updated 5/7/21)
6. Entrants must follow Burbank Parks and Recreation on Facebook (@burbankparksandrecreation) and/or Instagram (@burbank_parksandrec) and have a public account viewable by Burbank Parks and Recreation.


By entering the Contest, the entrant:
  • Grants the City of Burbank permission to use submitted photos and images for the purpose of publicizing and marketing City activities.  Please notify us if you would not like to be used for this purpose. 
  • Understands that no compensation shall be given for the use of submitted photos and that these images shall become the sole property of the City of Burbank.
  • Represents that it has secured all rights to use of the photographs from the photographer and any persons shown in the photographs.        
  • Agrees to the acceptance of the Facebook terms and conditions.
  • Agrees to the acceptance of the Instagram terms and conditions.
