Burbank Volunteer Program

The Burbank Volunteer Program (BVP) is a City of Burbank program that matches local volunteers with nonprofits and public organizations.

Whether you are looking to complete high school service learning requirements, have a few spare hours a month, or have recently retired and are looking to make an impact, BVP can assist in finding the perfect match for your availability and interests.

Burbank Parks and Rec celebrates Older Americans Month in May, honoring three outstanding volunteers with the Peter McGrath Award, renamed in 2021 to honor Mr. McGrath's legacy of community service. Learn more below.
If you want to nominate someone for the award, please fill out the Nomination Form by clicking HERE. The deadline for all submissions is Friday, March 1, 2024.
